I hope you choose to dance the summer of 2024! We operate on punch cards for the month of July and August – you can come to any class of your level as your schedule allows. Come 3 times one week, and not at all the next. Many levels are combined. Remember, coming to the “lower level” is just as, and sometimes more, difficult and beneficial as the more advanced class; it works foundational training. More advanced classes can be inspiring. I highly recommend that you do a mix or lower level and higher level classes! For example, if your student is in Ballet II they can come to any Ballet I/II, Ballet II, or II/III class this summer. A six-class punch card is $95 ($80 for Creative Movement and Pre-Ballet). A 12-class punch card is $145. Ballet I Special! Ballet I students: you will receive a 12-class punch card when you purchase a 6-class card! I hope you take advantage of this wonderful offer; even if you only make 9 classes you are getting a great deal. Our upstairs AC is getting fixed July 10 (and downstairs is naturally cooler)!

Stay Tuned For the 2025 Summer Schedule!

Summer Camps!

The summer intensive schedule is up and ready for enrollment. In your ABA Profile search “summer” and all of the different options should pop up. Here are guidelines for what you should register for:

Pre-Ballet: Pre Ballet I and II students (June 23-25) Will include story-time and crafts!

Beginning: students moving into Ballet I, currently in Ballet I, and moving into Ballet IIA (July 21-24) Will include modern class!

Intermediate: Students moving into Ballet II and currently in Ballet II and III ( July 28-Aug 1) Will include modern class!

Advanced: Students in Ballet IV and V (this camp includes pointe work) (August 4-8) Will include modern class!

Free Boys: any boys in Boys II or age 9 and up, including high school boys! (dance experience not required) This will be a fun class. I will keep a lot of things simple for the newer dancers, but we will do a lot of jumps and turns that are always good for the more experienced dancers to work on. (Aug 11-14)

All camps will have a performance for friends and family on the last day!

Please sign up now! Summer is a great time to dance. These intensives are fun, and a highlight for a lot of the dancers! In addition to these week-long training sessions, we will also have afternoon and Saturday classes that you can take using a punch card, allowing your dance schedule to be very flexible. Fit it in when you can around your other summer activities and vacations.

For dancers that are getting older and more serious, and strongly encourage you to continue your dance training over the summer for safety reasons. A lot of strength can be lost if long breaks are taken. It makes someone more prone to injury when they return. Plus, it is very discouraging returning and feeling like friends have improved.
