Home School Ballet is a great way to introduce your child to dance without the commitment of long rehearsals and big performances. If your dancer falls in love with the art, they will receive the instruction necessary to join the Young Dancer and Curriculum Ballet programs offered at ABA, where they will also be able to participate in semi-annual performances at The Historic Elsinore Theatre.
Home School Ballet: Two levels; ages 5-9 (Home School Pre-Ballet) and ages 8 and up (Home School Ballet). Both classes will teach foundational ballet skills in a fun, structured environment. Dancers need a solid colored leotard, pink ballet shoes and pink ballet tights which can be purchased at The Dance Store in Salem or at other dance suppliers. The class will include 3 informal performances a year at the studio (Dec, Mar, June). Students will purchase simple costume for these performances. Level I meets Tuesdays from 12:45-1:30 for $69/month. Level II meets Tuesdays from 1:30-2:30 for $79/month.
